INSPIRE IMPORTS FAQS
What is your minimum order?
· Only $300.
Do I have to buy whole boxes?
· Only a few small items have minimum quantities. For the majority of kits you can pick and choose whatever suits your vision and feel free to try something new. Don’t forget to consider the economics of shipping DIM weights: half a box costs the same as a whole box.
Who do you use for shipping?
· Canpar, so we can pass on our CGTA member discount to you. Of course we can also work with your preferred courier.
Do you ship anywhere in Canada?
· Yes. Absolutely. For remote locations you might have a preferred courier you trust.
Do you ship to the United States?
· No. Liability insurance costs are prohibitive so we can’t sell across the border.
Do you offer bulk discounts?
· No. Seedling products are aimed at discerning parents and grandparents. Our independent retail customers do not want to see their treasured and unique finds turning up in chain discount stores.
Do you offer exclusivity?
· Yes. Within core shopping districts we can offer exclusivity so you are not competing with stores down the block or across the street. To maintain exclusivity you should be reordering reasonable volumes within consistent time cycles. Because shopping patterns vary considerably across Canada exclusivity will be reviewed individually.
Can we be on the map?
· Of course! Once you become an approved Seedling retailer and order product you will be posted to the map (and on our web site).
Are your products eco-friendly?
· Packaging is sustainable New Zealand pine or recycled paper. All wood products are sustainable New Zealand pine. Seedling tries to source eco-friendly supplies wherever possible but the economics for so many different ingredients precludes them from being 100 % organic.
What about safety certificates?
· All of Seedling's paints, pencils, crayons – things that might have toxicity issues for children – have safety certificates compliant with Canadian standards. None of these items are made in China – they come from New Zealand, USA, France, Spain, or Germany.
What about traceability?
· Seedling products meet international standards and are traceable: please contact us with your queries.
Where are your products made?
· All kits are assembled in Auckland, by Seedling New Zealand Ltd. Individual ingredients are sourced from around the world. Ingredients imported from China are of a decorative nature only.
